Elizabeth Schultheiss

Director of Regional Initiatives



Elizabeth joined BCCF in March 2016, where she provides leadership for regional initiatives. Responsibilities include providing leadership and oversight for the Regional Health Alliance (a community partnership to improve health in Calhoun County), developing strategic partnerships throughout the region, and supporting the Governance Committee of the Board of Trustees. Education/Experience

Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Arts from Western Michigan University, a Master’s of Arts in Interior Design and Facilities Management from Michigan State University, and a Master’s of Public Administration from Western Michigan. She has served as a nonprofit executive for over 17 years, most recently as the Executive Director of the Albion Community Foundation. She has a strong background of community involvement, including serving as a board member for the Friends of the Bohm Theatre, Friends of the Ismon House, and Albion Business Education Partnership. Her civic participation includes serving as the Albion Downtown Development Director for three years, serving on the City of Albion Recreation Master Plan Citizens Advisory Committee, serving on the City of Albion Sign Board of Appeals, and being a member of the Calhoun County Planning Commission.
