Organizational grants are for nonprofit programs, organizations and community groups either located in the greater Battle Creek area or implementing projects/programs directly affecting the citizens of the greater Battle Creek area.

Special funding opportunities have a specific purpose, separate guidelines and applications.
Nonprofit organizations that have an organizational endowment fund held at the Community Foundation are eligible to apply for a donor advised grant. The choice to recommend a grant is up to the donor advisor of the fund. There are no guarantees that an organization will receive a grant but it is a great opportunity!
In response to the recent tragedies in Kalamazoo County, and in an effort to address both immediate and long-term community needs related to community violence, a collaborative group of local nonprofits has established a fund.
Battle Creek Community Foundation, Kalamazoo Community Foundation, and United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region will be partnering with area organizations to direct funds to areas of need to help create safer communities now and into the future.
